And we don't give a damn who the killing is for
It's the same old story with a different name
Death or glory, it's the killing game"

Warmachines with flames no matter if it is large stones, spears or pure flames (Dwarf machines and screaming scull)
Flaming weapons like balefire spike and burning blade of chotec
Weapons on flame from other sources like banner of hellfire
Does this immunity carry over to a monstroues mount like a griffon or dragon?
I know how GW rules and what I think, but it is important how You rule before I load up on too many flames.
Helm of Commandment, what WS does a unit effectively use in the following situations. A Lord is giving his WS 7 to:
A unit under influence of Word of Pain or Miasma of pestilence (Their basic WS=1)
A character with Accursed Armour (-3 WS)
I'd say that the WS will allways be the lowest possible, the helm gives them WS7 as base and that is changed, so my answer would be 1 and 4 in the above. But that is only because the helm is too good and too cheap anyway.

1: if my bloodknights are screened by wolfs and the wolfs declare a charge:
Can I willingly declare a charge with the knights? (I'd say yes)
Must they charge? (I'd say no)
But RAW (which I despise) would say no.
I assume that You uset all GW faq?
I dislike the ruling on dragons immunity to fire just because of an improved armour for a point more. I know that is the rules according to both faq and RAW. But if You use all faq and RAW, then I have no problem with that.

Bah, banner of hellfire is good against treeman + all the regen units that's pooped up lately, but sucky against the star dragon, can't have it all right?

I'm no organiser att all, so this is not the ruling on Sydcon.

Ok. Just so that You're consistent, even if GW and the faq's are not

And that would be a no to my question on declaring charges with my bloodknights

Why? When You're not able to declare a charge with frenzy, if You wish to charge in the next round, You need to remove any screen.
Then the opponent is free to lead Your unit astray as he wishes.
That recasting Van Hels the minimizes that problem as well is just one more bonus for the overpowered VC.

I'm no organiser att all, so this is not the ruling on Sydcon.
You've got that right. Balefire spike and the banner is so cheap anyway that it doesn't matter.
I think all the regen stuff and treemen benefits the most from that ruling. Now You can't just default to flaming on all the dwarf warmachines, You might need one machine able to wound that stardragon.
The ruling follows the description in the HE book, it's the book that's lousy.
"Hey look out sire there's a cannon ball coming Your way. It's bound to hit You or Your beloved dragon.!"
"Doesn't matter, I can see the stupid crew poured pitch on the 50 punds metal ball and set it on fire. Thank good for that, it'll bounce off both me and the pet. With just the cold metal We'd be dead one of us

Well there's a lot of really stupid rules just now. So I'll live with that as well.

And as a star dragon / dragon prince player I'm all for going for the GW FAQ

You could also put your cannon example like this;
"Watch out! That runed-up cannon is shooting cannon-balls made out of solid fire at us!"
"My super magic armour absorbs any fire / renders its effects useless, so there's no need to freek out"
It's fantasy after all

Well off course the most broken mount in the game should get immunity to fiery missiles for 2 points.
I have no problem with the ruling, when it comes to dragonprinces and guys on horsies. Its just the dragons that pisses me off.
Brgds.
