Här diskuteras Beastmen och här i första posten kommer gällande restriktioner ligga

Koolt.  Jag har några småsaker jag tycker man kan titta på hos Beastmen. :)

 

 

1: Införandet av generiska Centigorkaraktärer.  Gärna med nån slags regel som gör man kan få Centigors till core units.

 

2:  Sänka priset på centigors och/eller göra dem till fast cav.

 

3: Införa Foe-renders igen.  Ta bort 1 LD på Gor, Bestigor och Centigor. Ta in att deras champion har +1LD samt har +1S på sin profil. Det är en mycket fluffig och passande regel! :)

 

4: Beastmen borde inte drabbas så hårt av skogars effekter. 

 

5: Mixed units gors/ungors :D

 

6: Ifall man har en beastlord får enheten hen står i re-rolla missade primal furytest.

 

7: Chaos Marks. :)

 

8: Reducera kostnaderna på alla monster och/eller gör dem starkare. 

 

9: Ändra ambush-regeln till hur den fungerade i 6th ed. 

 

10: Precis som nedanstående post: redigera minotaurerna. De har för mkt specialregler och fånerier för sig så de är alldeles för dyra.  Jag föreslår tillbakagång till 6th ed minotaurer. Eller iaf lägre kostnad i poäng.

Sänka poängkostnaden för de olika monstren i rare samt se över poängkostnaden för minotaurer :)

Ta bort restriktionerna på antal enheter som får ambusha ( som i glottkin boken )

Sänk kostnaden på minotaurer

Uppdatera Lore of the Wild

Sänk kostnaden på rares eller höj deras T eller W med 1

Sänk eventuellt också kostnaden på razorgors och deras kärra

Sänk kostnad på core chariot med 10 pts

Ge gors möjligheten till billiga banners

Sänk kostnaden på gors och ungors med 1 pts

Sänk bestigors med 1 pts

Ghorgonens swallow whole blir en attack utöver hans vanliga

Jabberslythe auran ignorerar inspiring presence, itp och bsb

Cygor rerollar artilleridice mot fiender som är magiska

Beastmens need marks for sure and it would be nice if they could get accses to more lores.

 

I think the key would be for them to have access to either LoTzeentch or LoFire. That long range magic missile would make them viable and able to handle all the elves which currently is a huge problem.

I would vote for updating lore of the wild. Maybe strengthing the magic missile and adding another

First of all great to see this project taking place.

 

I would love to see Ambush rule and Fast Cav for Centigors, especially Ambush.

I really like the changes to lore of the wild. However its a
shame it lost some of its range potency ( which I believe beastmen need )

I suggest that Viltetid should ignore armour or atleast got armour piercing. This becouse the spell is very limited with all the armoured units and monsters out there ( and insects can surely reach through cracks in armour and natural hides )

I also believe Devolve should instead be a direct damage spell that can target enemies and make them roll 3d6 against their unmodified LD.

Also the new signature is great, but should it perhaps not instead be 1+ movement for all units to the next magic phase ? To a maximum of 1 ( or 2 ) ?

Another suggestion is that Devolve and Traitor kin remains aura damage spells but can be boosted to become direct damage ( with a longer range ) against single targets

Dark rain is a great ability even if I will miss the Bray Scream. However changing spells to become single target / magic missles might be more enjoyable for players then simply shutting down the fly ability for the opponent.

Does the new bloodgreed rule mean minotaurs overrun/pursue with 2D6 ?

Also: with the new forest strider rule: can I charge through a forest with my scary chariots and not taking dangerous terrain test?

And marks on Chariot should cost more than 1 point ;)

With the new rules for ambush, Khazrak the one eyes rule "bestial cunning" needs a change as well.
I would recommend changing it to "re-roll one failed ambush roll per round" or something like that.

The ability to choose which board edge the ambushes arrive from isn't that good anymore :P

Also, what was the reasoning behind changing the herdstone to a "herdforest"?

Fluff-wise I think the stone was better. Keeping it as a stone it also works to keeping beastmen a bit different from wood elves.

Impassable made it possible, with the help of other impassable on the table, to create large regions that was very difficult to enter for the opponent.

Cool. Is the dark forest an mysterious forest? :) or just an ordinary forest?

When a giant attacks a Chariot with "thump with club" which initiative value is used? The - or 0 of the Chariot, or the lowest of the crew/steeds?

Great changes made for beastmen, really looking forward to play them again. Though Im still a bit worried about their ability to handle mobile armies. Viletide being 48” will help. Not sure if its enough, hence the suggestions for Viletide and Traitor-kin in the general thread.

 

  • Fragment of the Dark Forest: Says ‘Herdstone’ in text instead of forest.
  • Warhounds: Counts as core?
  • Ghorros: Is he a centigor? (e.g. being a centigor gives +1 AS).
  • Ghorgon: Do something about Swallow Whole since its almost never worth using atm. One of the attacks can be the KB attack. Or if its kept as it is now it should at least be HKB.

They have access to the same amount of magic missiles as before (Viltide, Flock of Doom, Amber Spear), the only difference there is that Viletide is possible to extend to 48".
