Alltså jag tycker inte 50% Lords och Heroes är så bra egentligen, eller? Blir lite väl enhetsfattigt kan jag tycka.

 

Att Lore of Undeath nu officiellt kan användas av alla magiker gillar jag inte. Hur ställer sig kompgruppen till detta? Night Goblin Shamans får nu helt plötsligt ut väldigt mycket av sina mushrooms :)

Jag vill se Dennis bygga dubbla Shaman på spindel-lista med lore of undeath :D

50%/50% känns som att gå tillbaka 15 år i tiden till ren Herohammer.

Lore of Undeath till alla är ett skämt....helt sjukt med vissa arméer.

 

Det som gör mig mest förvånad är....hur tänkte GW öka försäljningen genom att minska antalet modeller i arméerna?

Är inte det väldigt svårt att summona något värt om man inte är arkhan eller Nagash ? Visst ethereal comes to mind men de flesta kör väl redan listor med counters för det redan

It looks like I was replying in the wrong thread.  I'm sorry for that.  The thread titles are hard for me to understand.  I'll repost here:

 

I'm sorry that I can't respond in your language, but I can read what you've written.  

 

At this point, doesn't it seem like The End Times is 9th edition?  Here in the US, we were all (mostly) convinced that 9th edition was set for Summer of 2015.  However, that now seems to coincide with the final End Times release.  It would be strange (although not unheard of) for GW to spill out all of the new End Times rules and then turn around with a new edition as soon as the End Times concluded.

 

I don't think the 50% Heroes/Lords is a huge deal.  The structure of the Swedish Komp system already provides for a methodical, workable, and intelligent way of coping with redundancy and synergistic combos.  In my opinion though, the Heroes change will take much more work than the Lords change. 

 

The Lore of Undeath is the real problem.  While the Lords/Heroes in each army have been rigorously playtested and given appropriate Komp values.  It isn't too much of a leap in logic to see how certain Lords/Heroes are going to impact the game.  However, the Lore of Undeath is totally untested in the Komp (as far as I know).  Couple that with the fact that it impacts all armies across the board and there is need for just monumental amounts of theory-hammer and play testing.  I'm sure the committee will have an eye on that as things progress.

Men karaktärerna kostar ofta mer per modell. Typ 1 sorceress till fots ~130 spänn. 3 waywatchers ~130 spänn. Färre modeller sålda men större vinstmarginal på det som säljs, typ?

 I agree, the end times could very well be part of 9th, and I would assume that all changes we see (such as the 50%/50% change) will stick in a later 9th edition rulebook. It's like a pre-release 9th book.

The actual cost for the material is ridiculous low in comparison.

Therefore you want to get a huge number of sold object so you can count the tooling cost low for each produced item.

 

This is what I do for a job so hopefully I got the general idea of how the production line for injection moulded items works :D

 

 

Henkef3: Well unless you have a magic item in every single unit on the table you will still be stuck with etherals 1" from your units and they can get stuck endlessly :(

Perhaps.. Still, looking at the pack of 3 waywatchers for 130SEK, that's 43SEK/each while the sorceress is 130SEK/each. I read somewhere that there are 5 way watcher models. What would an army include? Like 10 average? That's 2 of each model for a total of 86SEK/sculpt, while the sorceress still goes for 130SEK/sculpt (assuming one/army). But sure, there are other troops that are more heavily repeated than waywatchers. This rule change opens up for more of the expensive models anyway, although I personaly would not use the exact same model for two characters.

I still dont believe it to be a game breaker. There also by general a low casting range for ordinary casters if im not mistaking
